Reads I've Been Enjoying This Month

The past couple of months have been filled with new reads I've been enjoying a lot lately! Some were started last month and finished this month and some have been started and hopeful to finish out soon! Here is what I'm loving from some of these picks!

  1. One Day You'll Thank Me by Cameran Eubanks Wimberly. If you are a Southern Charm junkie like myself, you know Cameran and you love her. She's your classic, authentic Southern gal. She'll tell you how it is and that is something I can get behind! Cameran talks all about her Real World days to motherhood, marriage, and everything in between. She'll make you laugh with her blunt honesty and relax about the state of life you're in. Like she says - do everything with a sense of humor and you will be okay!! Thanks for the breather Cameran!

  2. The Push by Ashley Audrain. Unlike Cameran's take it easy mentality, this one will make you stressed and possibly a little scared to have children! This thriller is one of a kind and I truly enjoyed every part of it. It was a complete page turner and one that my entire book club enjoyed! It'll leave you wanting more and wandering about the relationship between a mother's nurturing and nature influences.

  3. Made To Crave Devotional by Lysa Terkeurst. I read the book, Made To Crave, while I was in college and really enjoyed it. But to be honest, I don't think I was in the mental state and openness to want to hear it and apply it to my own life. I picked up this devotional not too long ago and have been lovinggg the nuggets of wisdom Lysa shares between honoring God with our bodies, mindset, and relationship with Him. She clearly points out that we are to obey God and His truth and not what the world says about our body image or the number on the scale. Thank you Lysa for the nuggets of truth and the realness of how we are to live our lives in regards to body image, adoration, and obedience to God.

There are a few more on that list that I love and I encourage you all to take a look at them for yourself! You have a childhood throwback, how to deepen your relationship with Christ, and what to do with your faith in full action. Get some of these and cozy up on the couch for some good reads.
